is CoronaVirus Spread or Caused by 5G

5G is the new communication technology standard. “By employing different frequencies and many antennas, it enables for speedier communication,” said David Starobinski, a professor in Boston University’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. “Rather than a revolution, it’s an evolution of communication technology,” he explained.

The public’s apprehension of 5G technology is understandable. Even if it is at low levels, such equipment does emit radiation. 5G technology, on the other hand, isn’t fresh new. Rather, it’s a continuation of previous communication technologies, such as 4G, based on international standards, and it doesn’t cause COVID-19, despite popular allegations to the contrary.

While high-power radiation can be damaging to one’s health, Starobinski claims that there are safety rules for communication technology radiation, and that 5G should be safe to use. ” A lot of people have been using smartphones for many years, and no proof has been found that this radiation has resulted in an increase in diseases or hospitalizations,” he said. “Regulators have put restrictions on the radiation power of 5G equipment,” he added, “though more safety studies may be necessary.”

One of the reasons why people may relate 5G with COVID-19 is that such technology creates invisible electromagnetic radiation that many are concerned about as regards how it can impact their health. “People are much more concerned about things they can’t see, like radiation,” Starobinski added.

How Does CoronaVirus Spread?

Bats, cats, and camels are all known to carry coronaviruses. The viruses reside in the animals but do not infect them. Viruses can sometimes spread to other animal species. As the viruses spread to different species, they may change (mutate). The virus can eventually travel between animal species and infect people. The first persons infected with COVID-19 in Wuhan, China, are likely to have contracted the virus at a food market that sold meat, fish, and live animals — but investigators are still looking into it. Despite the fact that experts are unsure how people become infected, they have evidence that the virus can be transmitted straight from person to person through intimate contact. It is mostly spread:

  • When an infected person coughs, sneezes, talks, sings, or breathes near you, the virus spreads in respiratory droplets (within six feet). COVID-19 is thought to be distributed mostly through this route.
  • When the virus spreads via the air in small respiratory droplets from an infected person who is more than six feet distant or has already left the area. In enclosed locations with insufficient ventilation, this type of dissemination is more likely to occur.
  • Coming into intimate contact with an infected individual (touching, shaking hands).
  • By contacting virus-infected surfaces, then touching your eyes, mouth, or nose before washing your hands. (I had not intended to spread the word.)

COVID-19 is communicated by respiratory droplets, according to scientists, who also point out that droplets cannot be conveyed via 5G waves. The idea that 5G weakens the immune system and hence aids the spread of COVID-19 is perhaps the most popular of all the theories.

To begin with, many of the worst-affected countries now lack 5G infrastructure. There are more than 114,000 confirmed cases in Iran, but no 5G masts. Second, the allegation that 5G is harmful to the immune system is the same one that was made when 2G, 3G, 4G, and WiFi were all introduced. 5G waves are part of the electromagnetic spectrum, and higher frequency radiation towards the end of the spectrum can be dangerous. Because these high-frequency waves are “ionising,” they can cause interior damage to our bodies if we are exposed to them for an extended period of time. Take, for example, X-Rays. These are used for medical imaging and penetrate the body, therefore a patient’s exposure must be minimized.

5G operates in a “non-ionising” spectrum of low-frequency radiation, similar to WiFi. Non-ionising radiation does not cause interior damage to human cells, according to a mountain of scientific evidence. So, if we believe the research, 5G cannot be to blame for the pandemic, either by spreading the virus or by compromising our immune response.
